Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is offering a CO-OP at our SRE division in Birmingham, AL. The program requires a rotating schedule: one semester worked, then a return to school for a semester.

As a CO-OP, you will support engineers in test preparation, data analysis, and presentation, collaborating with lab and shop personnel on tasks vital to project success, including SOLIDWORKS design and 3D printing support.

Qualifications

• Freshman year in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics or related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to work with others in a dynamic environment.
• Willingness to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsabilités

• Assist with design of test hardware using solid modeling software.
• Prepare tests, drawings, requests and documentation.
• Collect, analyze and report data from experiments.
• Develop laboratory test methods and prototyping support.
• Support additive manufacturing and 3D printing efforts.
