Job summary

Kratos Defense & Rocket Support Services, Inc in Birmingham, AL seeks a CO-OP in our SRE division for hands-on testing, data analysis, and reporting. Rotations pay $22.00–$24.00/hour, with additional holiday pay and a 20-hour PTO bank each rotation, plus a $3,000 transitional allowance at the start of each rotation.

Candidates must be U.S. citizens, able to obtain TS clearance, and have completed freshman year in engineering or a related field, with strong analytical and communication skills and

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen able to obtain Top Secret clearance.
• Completed freshman year in engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Support test preparation and execution for engineering projects.
• Analyze data and prepare presentations for stakeholders.
• Design test hardware using solid modeling software.
• Create drawings, test requests and project documentation.
• Assist with SOLIDWORKS design and fixturing modifications.
• Provide 3D printing and additive manufacturing support.
• Assist in prototyping and hardware integration activities.
