Job summary

Leidos is seeking a qualified Production Technician for its Hypersonic line of business. The role involves electrical and mechanical assembly, integration and test of Hypersonic Glide Bodies (HGB) in a production and lab environment. You will join a technician team, working from drawings and WI/SOP/WAD, with safety and quality as top priorities.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma with 3+ years in defense, can read drawings, and can lift 25 lbs. U.S.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years in the defense industry.
• Ability to read production drawings, schematics, WI/SOP/WAD.
• Proficient with hand tools, DMM, Milliohm meter; basic mechanical aptitude.
• Able to work with a team of engineers and technicians in a fast-paced, quality-critical environment.
• Strong organizational skills to document work and support configuration management.
• Able to lift 25 lbs.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain Final Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and produce Hypersonic Glide Bodies (HGB).
• Perform electrical and mechanical assembly, integration and test across production stages.
• Work in production cells and in a laboratory environment within the integration/production facility.
