Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems is seeking an Electrical Engineer Production Liaison to support the Common Hypersonic Glide Body program (CHGB). Based in Huntsville, AL, you will collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, QA, and supply chain to ensure producibility, troubleshoot issues, and drive design-for-manufacturability improvements.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited institution
• 4+ years of relevant experience (or 8+ years in lieu of degree) or MS + 2+ years
• Provide rapid integration and troubleshooting support for system-level integration
• Hands-on laboratory experience with instrumentation and test methods including Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzer, Power Meter
• Knowledge of test procedure development
• Experience communicating and collaborating with test, quality, and manufacturing engineering teams

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Engineering Team to ensure designs are producible and manufacturable
• Resolve technical issues during assembly, integration, or test
• Evaluate how engineering changes affect schedules, tooling, processes, and costs
• Troubleshoot floor build issues and escalate critical problems
• Conduct non-conformance investigations
• Prepare engineering documentation (MRB dispositions, rework instructions)
• Interface with engineering, QA, supply chain, and manufacturing
• Identify and drive Design for Manufacturability and production yield improvements
