Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years in production/manufacturing operations or manufacturing engineering.
• 5+ years in production/operations leadership.
• Demonstrated success in scaling a production operation from development/prototype to high volume production.
• Deep understanding of high-precision aerospace hardware production, including metallic and composite fabrication, tight tolerances, testing and acceptance, and NDE.
• Strong data interpretation to guide strategy.
• Proven ability to lead a cross-functional team with focus on culture, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across engineering, quality, supply-chain, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategy to scale Rio Rancho production from prototype to full-scale production.
• Recruit, train/develop, and scale a 250+ employee manufacturing team.
• Support the implementation and refinement of MES, ERP, PLM systems.
• Oversee day-to-day production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory and supply-chain coordination.
• Forecast and manage operational and capital expenditures.
• Develop, implement, and refine KPIs to measure performance.
• Lead continuous process development to optimize yield, throughput, and cost.
• Establish a safety- and quality-first culture with emphasis on continuous improvement.
