Job summary

Leidos Defense Systems in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Flight Termination Engineer Lead for the CHGB program. You will serve as the Responsible Engineer and IPT Lead, guiding reviews, investigations, and supplier engagements to advance national defense capabilities.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Electrical Engineering, 8+ years of relevant experience (or 12+ years without a degree) and strong skills in system integration, testing, and technical communication with government partners.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering from ABET accredited institution.
• 8+ years of relevant experience (or 12+ years in lieu of degree) or MS with 6+ years.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and schematics to produce complex avionics assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Lead Flight Termination System technical reviews and investigations.
• Decompose requirements and interface with Range Commanders Council.
• Perform non-conformance and root-cause corrective action investigations.
