Job summary

Torch Technologies seeks highly skilled Test Engineers for AEDC Arnold AFB, TN, to support the 715th Test Squadron in hypersonic aeropropropulsion testing and data analysis. Onsite work, M-F, 8-5, with responsibilities to develop test plans and safety packages.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master’s in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience; an active Secret clearance is required. Expect collaboration with facility engineers and program stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or highly related field.
• 3+ years of applicable experience; additional experience may substitute education.
• Active Secret clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Support the 715th Test Squadron (715 TS) at AEDC in planning, execution, and analysis of hypersonic aeropropulsion ground testing.
• Analyze aerodynamic, thermodynamic, and propulsion data from test facilities (e.g., APTU).
• Develop comprehensive test plans, matrices, and safety packages with engineers and stakeholders.
• Utilize data acquisition systems and post-test tools to evaluate high-speed propulsion performance.
