Job summary

Torch Technologies, a 100% employee-owned company, seeks a Hypersonic Aerothermal Test Engineer/Analyst to support the 715th Test Squadron at Arnold AFB. The role is on-site in Tennessee and focuses on planning, executing and evaluating hypersonic ground tests in arcjet facilities to advance national defense.

Candidates should have 5+ years in hypersonic testing, a bachelor's degree, and the ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• At least 5 years' direct experience in hypersonic flight or ground testing.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead test planning and execution for hypersonic ground tests.
• Analyze test data and prepare reports.
• Modeling and simulation to support testing activities.
• Collaborate with government customers and internal teams.
