Job summary

Stratolaunch, LLC is seeking a Flight Test Engineer to enable development and successful flight testing of hypersonic aircraft systems, leading in the mission control room as a Test Conductor during flight and air-launch test missions.

You will develop test plans, procedures, and schedules, coordinate with vehicle engineering teams, mentor junior staff, and travel as needed to support planning and launch meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace testing and flight test programs.
• Ability to lead a small team and drive tasks to completion.
• Experience with flight test data analysis and safety reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead mission control room as Test Conductor during flight tests.
• Coordinate range, airspace and support resources for missions.
• Develop test plans, procedures, and mission cards.
• Mentor junior staff and document lessons learned.
• Travel as needed to support test planning and launch meetings.
