Qualifications

  • B.S. in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Mathematics, or Physics or closely related field.
  • 1+ years experience or coursework in estimation methods, inertial navigation, flight dynamics, or data analysis.
  • Proficiency in MATLAB.
  • Must be able to obtain Interim Secret clearance and ultimately a Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze flight test data from navigation sensors (IMU, GPS, RADAR, etc.).
  • Develop proficiency with analysis tools and methods to understand flight performance of ballistic and hypersonic systems.
  • Support design, development, and maintenance of flight analysis software and procedures.
  • Present findings to internal audiences, sponsors, and external groups at meetings and reviews.
  • Collaborate with experts in industry and academia to improve understanding of weapon system performance.
