Baseten in San Francisco is seeking a senior leader to own relationships and market intelligence across hyperscalers and strategic neoclouds, including NVIDIA cloud partners. The role blends technical and commercial work: you will evaluate capacity from the GPU to the data center, negotiate cost and terms with suppliers, and stay close to market trends to form a real point of view on where it's heading.

As a senior hire, you will help pair with and develop 1–2 junior to mid-level teammates,

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and sustain relationships across large, complex organizations.
• Ability to form independent market views and explain pricing implications.
• Experience evaluating compute capacity from GPU to data center.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain deep relationships across hyperscalers and strategic neoclouds, including NVIDIA cloud partners.
• Maintain top-of-mind presence with key accounts to enable rapid capacity procurement.
• Evaluate GPU-to-data-center capacity, including hardware generations and interconnects.
• Track compute pricing daily by GPU generation, region, and contract term.
• Negotiate terms with the Deals function and bring agreements to close.
• Define and defend a market outlook to guide sourcing decisions.
• Mentor 1–2 junior to mid-level teammates building coverage in this space.
