Job summary

Montera Infrastructure seeks a Principal Network Engineer to own architecture, security, and governance of all Montera-operated networking across IT/OT and guest networks. You will drive IP strategy, address allocations, and firewall policy, ensuring secure, scalable, multi-site deployments.

You will work with the Principal Controls Engineer to align data exposure, custody, and customer demarcation while maintaining ISO 27001 posture and DOE/OT standards in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years designing and operating data center networks in hyperscale or regulated environments.
• Experience with ARIN/IR address applications, ASN/BGP, and multi-site IPAM.

Responsibilities

• Own and standardize all Montera-operated networks (IT/OT/Guest) and segmentation.
• Define redundancy, zoning, and isolation for IT, OT, and customer domains.
• Lead IP strategy, address allocations, and DNS standards across sites.
• Architect firewall policy, secure remote access, and audit logging.
• Define demarcation models and secure data paths for customers.
