Job summary

CBRE DIRECTLINE, a CBRE Data Center Solutions business, is seeking a Fiber Estimator to develop accurate cost estimates for low‑voltage systems on hyperscale data center projects. You will analyze blueprints, coordinate with sales and project management, track scope changes, and support competitive pricing.

Requirements include 3–7 years of fiber or low‑voltage estimating experience, a strong understanding of installation methods and production rates, data center familiarity, and advanced Excel

Qualifications

• 3–7 years fiber or low-voltage estimating experience.
• Strong understanding of installation methods and production rates.
• Data center experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel and Bluebeam skills.

Responsibilities

• Estimate SMF/MMF, OSP/ISP, MPO/MTP, high-count fiber systems
• Build labor-driven costs (pulling, splicing, terminating, testing)
• Produce accurate takeoffs from complex drawings and incomplete designs
• Level vendor quotes and drive competitive pricing
• Identify scope gaps, risks, and execution constraints
• Support multi-building campus estimates
