Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Structural Design Technician to support our Advanced Manufacturing Data Centers team. You will contribute to the design of hyperscale data centers and other critical facilities, developing and updating structural drawings and BIM models with project teams across the United States.

You’ll use Revit and AutoCAD for coordination, deliver construction documents, and help organize design work for small packages while adhering to project standards. Hybrid work policy applies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years drafting/design experience in the structural field.
• 1+ year of Revit; 3+ years AutoCAD design experience.
• 2+ years of Revit experience preferred.
• Experience with traditional steel and concrete structures and leading designers is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update structural drawings and BIM models.
• Coordinate building systems and existing conditions on data center projects.
• Produce clear construction documents and drawings.
• Support 2D drafting and BIM coordination with project teams.
• Follow project standards and share technical knowledge with teammates.
