Job summary

Equinix is seeking a Lead Sales Engineer for its xScale hyperscale program in Atlanta. You will act as the primary technical advisor for top cloud, AI, and digital infrastructure customers, guiding design, capacity planning, and deployment strategy.

You will collaborate with Account Management, Operations, Capacity Planning, and Design & Construction to craft scalable, future-ready data center solutions that deliver business value and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Data Center Infra.
• Experience with hyperscale customers, cloud providers, AI infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of data center power, cooling, resiliency, and deployment lifecycles.
• Ability to engage with customer architects, executives, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical advisor for xScale hyperscale opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery, qualification, and design support for large facilities.
• Develop customer-specific infrastructure solutions aligned to long-term growth.
• Provide guidance across internal teams to ensure accurate, executable designs.
