Job summary

SB Energy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead medium-to-large construction capital projects, including data centers, on-site in Temple, Texas. The role covers budgeting, pre-bid planning, design coordination, and safety leadership, with a strong emphasis on delivering projects on time and within scope.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in construction management, 5+ years in hyperscale data centers, and proficiency with Procore, Cx Alloy, and P6.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of leading construction projects; 7–10 years preferred.
• At least 5 years of hyperscale or colocation data center experience.
• Multi-prime or alternate procurement delivery experience preferred.
• Experience with Procore, Cx Alloy, and P6 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design teams, contractors, operations, and clients.
• Submit monthly project financial reporting including forecasting and cash flow.
• Review monthly contractor billing and substantiate progress with site walks.
• Lead contract negotiations with vendors and ensure alignment with specs.
• Guide work products to ensure data center spaces meet requirements and standards.
• Drive lessons learned, cost and schedule savings, and lifecycle improvements.
• Coordinate design criteria with budget and ongoing facility maintenance.
• Perform weekly safety walks and uphold SB Energy EHS policies.
• Mentor SB Energy team members and lead project closeout activities.
