Job summary

Fluor Corporation is seeking a Project Engineer/Specialist with extensive experience in managing mission-critical datacenter projects. You will verify HSE emphasis with the Project Director, review contracts including OFCI scopes, and prepare baselines for project execution in alignment with Fluor OSR/OSIP.

You will help ensure cost control and risk mitigation while coordinating equipment delivery, logistics, and installation with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent and seven years of related experience (eleven years if no degree).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete project management responsibilities.
• Ability to learn and apply applicable local, state/provincial, and federal/national statutes, codes, and guidelines.
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and effective manner.

Responsibilities

• Verify with the Project Director that HSE principles are emphasized throughout all phases of the project.
• Review and understand the Fluor contract and subcontracts, including OFCI scopes.
• Collaborate in preparing documents for project execution in line with OSR and OSIP.
• Prepare drafts for PD approval of execution, commercial and cost baselines.
• Support the PD in delivering projects with focus on cost control and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate OFCI equipment delivery, logistics and installation with client, vendors and construction teams.
• Apply knowledge of hyperscale datacenter systems to support decision-making and problem resolution.
• Interface with clients with datacenter experience to ensure alignment with standards and reporting.
• Support execution across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, turnover and closeout.
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Director or management.
