Job summary

Schlumberger is seeking a Mechanical Equipment / Piping Engineer to lead the mechanical scope for hyperscale data center modules. You will check drawings, ensure code compliance, and interface with clients and vendors to deliver reliable, safe systems.

The role involves manufacturing support, site trouble-shooting, and collaboration with Engineering leads. A BS in Mechanical Engineering and PE is preferred; 7+ years in data centers is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering required; PE license preferred.
• 7+ years in mechanical design/engineering for data centers or facilities.
• Experience with CAD and BIM software; ability to produce detailed drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Check and approve drawings and documentation to meet codes and project specs.
• Review engineering work for accuracy and conformance with client/company standards.
• Prepare mechanical deliverables: valve lists, piping line lists, and BOMs.
• Perform pipe stress analysis and provide data center mechanical input.
• Support construction phase with RFIs and field troubleshooting.
