Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Customer Delivery Architect to support a hyperscale web customer from the Seattle area. You will design and optimize SONiC-based data center fabrics on Cisco Silicon One hardware, collaborating with Cisco and customer teams to ensure scalable, reliable AI/ML infrastructure.

The role spans Linux networking, containerized services, and ASIC forwarding pipelines, with hands-on debugging, telemetry, and validation in production and pre-production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• 10+ years of experience in networking, distributed systems, or hyperscale infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of data center networking architectures and large-scale routing.
• Strong troubleshooting across software, hardware, and protocols.
• Experience in large production environments with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority for SONiC deployments on Cisco Silicon One at scale.
• Provide architectural guidance for hyperscale data center fabrics supporting AI workloads.
• Troubleshoot issues across stack: SONiC containers, Linux networking, routing, ASIC forwarding.
• Perform deep debugging with Silicon One SDK tools and telemetry.
• Support validation environments with SONiC and Cisco platforms (NCS5500, Catalyst 8000, Nexus 3000/9000, NCS1K).
• Collaborate with silicon architects, SONiC developers, and software engineers to resolve defects.
• Guide customers in DevOps-driven operations with CI/CD for SONiC validation.
• Help implement observability, telemetry, and automated validation for reliability at hyperscale.
• Act as trusted advisor with customer network teams.
