Job summary

Project Talent Partners seeks an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead field execution and trade coordination for a hyperscale data center program in Alexandria, LA. The role emphasizes BMS/controls installation, point-to-point checkout, and multi-discipline integration across central plant systems.

The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years delivering data centers, strong BIM/VDC capabilities, and hands-on commissioning experience. Travel on a 6x10 site schedule will be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of mechanical project management experience delivering large-scale data centers or similar facilities.
• Working knowledge of BMS/controls architectures and integration with AHU/CRAC and chiller plants.
• Experience managing BIM/VDC coordination and critical-path scheduling for fast-track scopes.
• Hands-on commissioning exposure across Level 4/5 testing in data-center environments.
• Willingness to travel and operate on a 6x10 site schedule in Alexandria, LA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee mechanical trade coordination and installation from design through field execution.
• Direct point-to-point checkout, SOO verification, and network tie-ins for central plant automation.
• Lead commissioning interfaces with third-party CxA and site superintendents across startup to IP testing.
• Drive RFIs, submittals, scope packaging, change orders, and milestone-based billings.
• Act as primary mechanical and controls liaison with owner and design teams on site.
