Job summary

Meta is seeking a Hardware Engineer on the Infrastructure Systems team to design, develop, and validate server and rack-level hardware for Meta's data center fleet. Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with 2+ years of industry experience.
• 2+ years bringing up data center system equipment or complex consumer devices.
• 2+ years PCB design with high-speed interfaces and mixed signal circuits.
• 2+ years end-to-end product development and deployment experience.
• 2+ years experience with Signal Integrity and Power as a board owner.
• Experience with hardware bring-up, validation, and characterization.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop server, rack, and infrastructure hardware systems for large-scale data center deployment.
• Define hardware architecture and system-level specs with cross-functional teams.
• Lead component evaluation and selection for processors, memory, storage, and interconnects.
• Conduct hardware bring-up, validation, and characterization of prototype systems.
• Develop and execute hardware validation test plans for performance, reliability, and power integrity.
• Analyze failure modes and drive root-cause investigations.
• Collaborate with ODMs and contract manufacturers for manufacturability and ramp.
• Contribute to hardware design reviews and documentation including schematics and test reports.
• Work with data center operations to meet scalable operational requirements.
• Track milestones, communicate risks, and drive resolution across stakeholders.
