Job summary

Meta is seeking a Hardware Engineer to design and validate server and rack-level hardware for its global data center fleet. You will cover the full hardware development lifecycle from architecture to production qualification, ensuring performance, reliability, and efficiency for hyperscale deployment.

You will lead component evaluation, perform bring-up and validation, and collaborate with supply chain, ODM partners, and deployment teams to meet scale requirements.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop server, rack, and infrastructure hardware systems for large-scale data center deployment.
• Define hardware architecture and system-level specs with cross-functional teams.
• Lead component evaluation and selection (processors, memory, storage, power, interconnects).
• Conduct hardware bring-up, validation, and characterization of prototypes.
• Develop and execute hardware validation test plans (performance, reliability, thermal, power).
• Analyze failure modes and drive root cause investigations.
