Job summary

Meta's Infra Mechanical Engineering group seeks a senior Mechanical Engineer to lead design, prototyping, and testing of rack-scale data center devices for AI/ML, servers, and networking. You will work with TPM, hardware, thermal, software, and supply chain teams to drive architecture, validation, and manufacturing readiness, including on-site support with ODM/JDM partners.

With 7+ years in volume data center product design and proficiency in Creo/SolidWorks, you will shape packaging,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or mechatronic engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in designing and shipping volume data center products.
• Proficient with Creo or SolidWorks.
• Excellent cross-functional communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead product specifications, design, prototyping, and testing of devices and products for AI/ML, server, storage, networking, or Rack & Power for data centers.
• Collaborate with TPM, hardware, thermal, software, and supply chain teams to meet goals and schedules.
• Validate product performance against internal requirements using design and simulation tools.
• Create test plans and documentation for prototyping, quoting, and production.
• Support manufacturing partners on-site with overseas design and manufacturing teams.
