Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years estimating low-voltage or structured cabling projects.
• Experience estimating both copper and fiber.
• Hyperscale data center experience is required.
• Experience in ISP or OSP environments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for data center infrastructure and structured cabling projects.
• Develop bills of materials (BOMs), labor projections, material quantities, and project pricing.
• Perform detailed take-offs for low-voltage and structured cabling scopes, including copper and fiber.
• Review blueprints, technical drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
• Analyze project requirements and develop accurate estimates.
• Review vendor quotes, material pricing, labor requirements, and project costs.
• Support bid preparation, RFP responses, and client proposals.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, procurement teams, vendors, and field operations.
• Analyze scope changes and assist with change order and cost-impact analysis.
• Maintain historical cost data, unit pricing, and estimating information.
• Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Contribute to improvements in estimating accuracy and efficiency.
