Job summary

LINX, based in Denver with multiple regional offices, is seeking a thoughtful Estimator to support sales in developing bid responses for data center cabling projects. You will ensure estimates are complete and updated as needed, coordinating closely with vendors, sales staff and engineers.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of datacenter cabling estimation, strong Excel and Bluebeam skills, and the ability to read drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience estimating network cabling projects (Datacenters).
• Strong foundational knowledge of network cabling systems, materials and installation practices (copper and fiber).
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Bluebeam Revu (or similar).
• Detail oriented and able to read/write/present bid information.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for network cabling systems, including materials, labor, expenses (travel, parking, tooling, etc).
• Support the development of bid proposals in alignment with project budgets and timelines.
• Review basic project documents to understand scope of work and identify requirements under senior estimators.
• Coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing and maintain supplier relations for competitive pricing.
• Collaborate with sales, project managers and engineers to ensure estimates meet project needs.
