Job summary

SpaceXAI seeks an Architect to lead the design and execution of data center facilities and AI infrastructure across multiple sites. You will work with civil, structural, MEP, and procurement teams to deliver scalable, compliant architectures that meet aggressive timelines.

Occasional travel is required, reporting to the Facilities Leadership team. The role requires a LEED‑AP or equivalent sustainability focus, a U.S.

Qualifications

15+ years of progressive experience in architectural design and project management, with hands‑on involvement in data center development, site construction, and workplace planning.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and support construction of advanced data centers and AI infrastructure.
Collaborate with civil, structural, MEP, fire protection, procurement and construction teams.
Create Basis of Design documents and RFQ packages for external consultants and vendors.
Conduct site visits and assessments to refine designs and address site conditions and risks.
Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning, and environmental standards.
Initiate, scope, design, estimate costs, and execute facility projects for AI operations and business continuity.
Build cross‑functional partnerships with engineering, operations, and leadership to align on project goals.
