The Boring Company is seeking an experienced operations leader to oversee planning and potential construction/operation of a Texas Hyperloop between Austin and San Antonio. You will lead the end-to-end operational plan from pre-launch to steady-state operations, managing a team of operators and technicians while driving improvements for efficiency and safety.

You will work with civil servants, elected officials, and contractors to ensure compliance and delivery of features as the system scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to change.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Motivated to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive operational plan for the Austin-San Antonio Hyperloop.
• Design and manage the Operations Command Center with staffing and procedures.
• Drive activities for opening and public launch of the system.
• Manage a team of operators, technicians and personnel.
• Implement improvements to increase operational efficiency.
• Build training materials and documentation.
• Identify and mitigate technical issues quickly.
• Coordinate with government bodies ensuring code compliance.
• Collaborate with architecture/engineering teams for scalable features.
