Job summary

Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC, is seeking a Hyperbaric Tech/Wound Care RN to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and operate the chamber, ensuring patient safety during treatments and proper documentation.

The role requires an active RN license (ADN or higher) and current BLS certification. Prior wound care and HBOT experience are preferred, with responsibilities including data entry, safety participation, and coordination with the Hyperbaric Provider.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state where you practice.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Associate's degree or higher).
• Current BLS provider certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Prior wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy as prescribed by the Hyperbaric Provider.
• Operate and monitor the hyperbaric chamber and related systems.
• Document daily hyperbaric treatments and wound care visits accurately.
• Assist with safety drills and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Obtain prior authorization from insurance companies.
• Perform other wound care duties as required.
