Job summary

HCA Healthcare Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC seeks a Hyperbaric Tech/Wound Care Registered Nurse to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and ensure safe chamber operation. You will maintain treatment records, support wound care, and participate in safety and quality initiatives.

The role requires an active RN license, ADN or higher, BLS, and prior wound care and HBOT experience. This on-site position offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative care environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing with an ADN or higher.
• Active Registered Nurse license in the practicing state or compact license.
• Current BLS Health Care Provider certification.
• Prior wound care experience.
• Prior Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy experience.
• Participation in quality improvement initiatives and patient education/advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, educate and orient patients for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy sessions.
• Administer therapy and monitor chamber equipment and patient responses.
• Make accurate entries for daily treatments and clinic visits, including photo uploads.
• Operate and maintain hyperbaric chamber and support systems.
• Participate in safety program activities and drills.
• Obtain prior authorization from insurance companies.
• Perform other wound care duties as required.
