Qualifications

• Graduate of Registered Nurse Program.
• Three years experience in an acute care setting.
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice.
• Strong ability to communicate complex topics to a wide and diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Assess and plan nursing care for hyperbaric/wound patients and communicate with physicians.
• Monitor vital signs, wound care, dressing changes, TCOM testing and report changes.
• Document accurately and thoroughly with no unapproved abbreviations; ensure patient identification before interventions.
• Identify wastes and manage supplies; stock designated areas and support front office needs.
