Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Hyperbaric Technician in Tulsa, OK. This role administers Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and supports safe, high-quality patient care within established protocols.

You will operate and maintain hyperbaric chambers, prepare patients, document treatments, and serve as the designated Hyperbaric Safety Leader ensuring NFPA 99 compliance. Collaboration with wound care and interdisciplinary teams is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in healthcare or the diving industry.
• Current CHT or CHS certification.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer HBOT as prescribed, ensuring safe and effective treatment delivery.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain hyperbaric chambers and related equipment.
• Prepare patients for hyperbaric treatments, monitor safety, and maintain accurate treatment records.
• Serve as Hyperbaric Safety Leader, supporting safety protocols and NFPA 99 compliance.
• Coordinate and conduct hyperbaric safety drills and emergency preparedness exercises.
• Provide staff and physician education related to hyperbaric physiology and chamber operations.
• Maintain hyperbaric treatment logs and monitor supply inventory.
• Collaborate with Wound Care leadership and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
