Job summary

Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Hyperbaric Technician to administer Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and monitor patient safety. You will operate and maintain hyperbaric chambers, document treatments, and support staff education to ensure high-quality care.

You will also serve as Hyperbaric Safety Leader, coordinate safety drills, and collaborate with Wound Care and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) or Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS) certification preferred.
• BLS certification due within 14 days of hire or transfer.

Responsibilities

• Administer HBOT as prescribed, ensuring safe and effective treatment.
• Operate, monitor and maintain hyperbaric chambers and related equipment.
• Prepare patients for hyperbaric treatments and document care accurately.
• Serve as Hyperbaric Safety Leader and ensure NFPA 99 compliance.
• Coordinate hyperbaric safety drills and emergency preparedness activities.
• Educate staff and physicians on hyperbaric physiology, chamber operations, and safety.
• Maintain treatment logs and monitor supply inventory.
• Collaborate with Wound Care leadership and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care.
