Job summary

Abrazo West Campus is seeking a Hyperbaric Medicine professional to provide hyperbaric oxygen therapy as ordered by physicians. You will monitor treatment delivery, ensure safe operation of the chamber and related systems, and coordinate with the care team for patient plans and discharge.

Prior HBOT experience is preferred. The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation, and collaboration with physicians to optimize outcomes within a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Requires strong interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and staff.
• Education: High school diploma or GED; Associates degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans for safe and effective delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy.
• Monitors patient during treatment for oxygen intolerance and related adverse reactions.
• Operates hyperbaric chamber and related support systems safely.
• Documents patient plans of care and interventions in the chart.
• Coordinates with physicians and interdisciplinary team for plan of care and discharge.
• Communicates treatment plan to patient/family and care teams.
• Initiates changes in care delivery based on patient progress and outcomes.
