Job Purpose
Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered and reviewed by the hyperbaric provider. Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education Required: High school graduate or equivalent. Training in one of the following medical professions: Respiratory Therapy, Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technology.
- Minimum Experience Required: Minimum of two (2) years experience in healthcare.
- Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law: BLS Certification.
- Additional Qualifications: Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following: Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician, Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technician, Certified Hyperbaric Technologist, Other CHT qualifying certification. Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience is preferred.
- Training: Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire.
