Job summary

Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, GA seeks a Hyperbaric Tech (PRN) to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and related diagnostics under physician oversight. You will perform daily safety checks and participate in treatment planning with a hyperbaric team.

Requirements include a GED or higher, 2 years of healthcare experience, and certification in BCLS with a Georgia license or eligible credential (CRTT, LPN/LVN, EMT, or CHt).

Qualifications

• 2 years of healthcare experience is required.
• Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience is preferred.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support certification required upon hire.
• Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following areas required upon hire.
• CRTT - Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician or LPN/LVN or EMT or CHt or CST are acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under supervision of a hyperbaric physician.
• Provide daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric physician. All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered by the hyperbaric physician/provider. Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.

Qualifications:

Education

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and


• Training in one of the following medical professions: Required


• Respiratory Therapy or


• Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN) or


• Emergency Medical Technology. or


• Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire

Work Experience

• 2 years of healthcare experience Required


• Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• BCLS - Basic Life Support BLS Certification through AHA Upon Hire Required and


• Current Georgia license or certification in one of the following areas: Upon Hire Required
