Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Administer safe and effective hyperbaric oxygen therapy and assist with diagnostic testing to patients under the supervision of a hyperbaric provider.
• All therapeutic and diagnostic modalities will be ordered and reviewed by the hyperbaric provider.
• Provides daily maintenance and safety checks prior to daily operations.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Training in one of the following medical professions required: Respiratory Therapy, Practical Nursing (LPN/LVN), Emergency Medical Technology, Successful completion of the 40-hour Primary Hyperbaric Training course within 6 months of hire.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Minimum of two (2) years experience in healthcare required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:

• BLS Certification required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current Georgia license or certification required in one of the following areas:
• Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician
• Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN)
• Emergency Medical Technician
• Certified Hyperbaric Technologist
• Other CHT qualifying certification
• Wound, Hyperbaric, or critical care experience is preferred.
