Job summary

Healogics, Inc. is seeking a Hyperbaric Safety Director in Waterloo, IA to supervise hyperbaric oxygen therapy delivery, equipment safety, and program compliance. You will maintain chambers, train staff, and lead safety initiatives within the hospital setting.

The role requires a CHt/CHS certification, HBO safety training within 5 years, and a healthcare professional license as applicable. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for coordinating with Medical and Nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• CHT or CHS certification preferred.
• Completion of HBO Safety course within last 5 years preferred.
• Introductory hyperbaric medicine course required/preferred.
• Current healthcare professional license/certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform hyperbaric chamber operator duties and patient prep.
• Administer HBO therapy as prescribed and monitor responses.
• Enter daily treatment data and maintain patient records.
• Operate and maintain hyperbaric chambers and oxygen systems.
• Lead safety program activities and conduct quarterly drills.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and Hospital staff on safety.
