Job summary

Healogics, LLC. is seeking a Hyperbaric Technician to perform chamber operations, educate patients, and ensure safe, effective HBOT sessions at our Waterloo, IA site.

The role includes accurate data entry, equipment maintenance, and active participation in the safety program while supporting management in policy execution. The ideal candidate holds CHt/CHS certification and an HBO safety course, with applicable state licensure.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Current CHt or CHS certification preferred.
• Pre or post hire completion of HBO Safety course within past 5 years.
• Pre or post hire completion of Hyperbaric Medicine Introductory course (various organizations).
• Current healthcare professional license as applicable in state of practice (RN/RT/LPN/MA/others).

Responsibilities

• Performs hyperbaric chamber operator duties and patient education/orientation.
• Administers HBO therapy per provider instructions and monitors patient responses.
• Records daily hyperbaric treatments and clinic visits accurately.
• Operates and maintains hyperbaric chambers and support systems.
• Participates in safety program activities and drills.
• Collaborates with Program Director and Healogics for upgrades/repairs to ensure safety.
