Job summary

Holy Cross Hospital seeks a Hyperbaric Safety Director to oversee the safe operation of hyperbaric chambers and support systems. You will administer HBO therapy, educate patients, and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols under the Program Director.

This role requires maintaining records, coordinating with medical staff, and leading safety initiatives. The ideal candidate holds a High School diploma or GED with HBO safety certifications preferred, BLS/CPR, and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; CHR/CHS preferred.
• Current CHT or CHS certification preferred.
• Pre or post hire HBO safety training required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer HBO therapy as prescribed by Hyperbaric Provider.
• Operate and maintain hyperbaric chamber equipment and safety systems.
• Prepare patients for treatment and educate them about HBO therapy.
• Maintain accurate daily treatment records and wound clinic entries.
• Lead the hyperbaric safety program and conduct safety drills.
• Collaborate with medical staff and program director on safety upgrades.
