Job summary

Qualifications

• Current certificate or license in Medical Assistant, Diver Medical Tech, Emergency Medical Technician certification, Paramedic certification, or LPN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Meets medical requirements for hyperbaric exposure if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after hyperbaric treatments.
• Operate hyperbaric chamber and ancillary equipment.
• Maintain a safe environment and infection control.
• Monitor in-chamber environment variables and communicate with inside attendant.
• Assist with setup and maintenance of required monitoring (e.g., glucose, blood pressure).
• Complete UHMS approved course in Hyperbaric Medicine within one year of hire/transfer.
