Job summary

Singing River Health System is seeking a Hyperbaric Technician / Technologist to operate and monitor the hyperbaric chamber under clinician direction. The role focuses on patient safety, accurate recording of chamber use and pressures, and daily maintenance of hyperbaric systems.

Requirements include EMT, Respiratory Therapist or LPN credentials, and a current MS license/certification where applicable, plus ACLS/BCLS. Prior hyperbaric experience is preferred; strong teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• EMT certification required; HS graduate or equivalent.
• Respiratory Therapist certification/degree required.
• LPN license/certification required; NBDHMT hyperbaric training preferred.
• MS license/certification where applicable.
• BCLS and ACLS certifications preferred or to be obtained on hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the hyperbaric chamber and support systems.
• Maintain patient records and chamber use data (time/pressure).
• Perform daily maintenance and system upkeep of hyperbaric equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper function of the chamber's oxygen system.
• Adhere to physician or practitioner directives and safety protocols.
