Job summary

Healogics seeks a Hyperbaric Technician to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and ensure safety and proper operation of hyperbaric chambers. You will educate patients and monitor responses during treatments.

Role requires relevant healthcare certification, BLS/CPR, and 2+ years healthcare experience; training may include vein clinic duties and safety participation. The position is based at multiple service sites with a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Current healthcare professional certification or license as applicable in state of practice (RN/LPN/LVN, CMA/RMA, CHS/CHRN/CHT, etc.).
• Minimum of two (2) years healthcare experience preferred.
• Hyperbaric training completion or equivalent credential is required or preferred.
• Ability to operate hyperbaric chamber equipment and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, educate and orient patients for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy sessions.
• Administer therapy as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
• Record daily treatments and maintain patient records.
• Operate and maintain hyperbaric chambers and related support systems.
• Assist in vein clinic tasks after training where assigned.
• Participate in safety programs and drills.
• Perform other duties as required.
