Job summary

Healogics is seeking a Hyperbaric Technician to administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy and ensure safe operation of chambers and support systems. You will educate patients, monitor responses, and document treatments with accurate records.

Eligible candidates may have RN/LPN, CMA, CHS, CHRN, CHT, or DOD hyperbaric training, with 2+ years in healthcare preferred. The role requires working in a hospital or outpatient setting, following CMS and state regulations, and collaborating with the Hyperbaric

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Healthcare certification/license as applicable to practice state.
• Various hyperbaric-related credentials may be required or preferred.
• Two years healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer hyperbaric oxygen therapy per provider instructions.
• Operate and monitor hyperbaric chamber and support systems.
• Prepare patients, educate and orient before treatment.
• Maintain accurate treatment records and data entries.
• Assist in vein clinic after specific training.
• Participate in safety drills and adhere to policies.
• Perform other duties as required.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Current healthcare professional certification or license

Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic

Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)

Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS)

Certified Hyperbaric Registered Nurse (CHRN)

Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA)

Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT)

Certified or Licensed Nursing Assistant (CNA or LNA)

Certified Hyperbaric Wound Specialist (CHWS)

Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant (PT or PTA)

Hyperbaric Training from US Department of Defense (DOD)

Ohio license preferred (RN/LPN/RT/CHT) if applicable
