Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a Respiratory Hyperbaric Specialist to administer inhalation and oxygen therapy per physician orders, monitor patient conditions, and educate families on treatments. The role involves routine equipment setup and catheter/line support, with emphasis on safety and compliance in a high-acuity hospital setting.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, HBOT experience, and required certifications.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv (required).
• Vocational/Technical School preferred.
• 1+ year of clinical hyperbaric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medication via inhalation and oxygen therapy.
• Monitor and document patient conditions and treatments accurately.
• Educate patients and families about illnesses and clinical interventions.
• Assist with setup of Holter monitors, ECGs and related procedures as ordered.
• Assist with patient transports requiring respiratory intervention.
