AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a Respiratory Hyperbaric Specialist to administer inhalation and oxygen therapy per physician orders, monitor patient conditions, and educate families on treatments. The role involves routine equipment setup and catheter/line support, with emphasis on safety and compliance in a high-acuity hospital setting.
Applicants should have a high school diploma, HBOT experience, and required certifications.

Administers prescribed medication via inhalation and oxygen therapy according to physician orders and departmental protocols. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments accurately and timely. Educates patients and family members about illnesses and clinical interventions. Adheres to department standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensures patient documentation is accurate and complete. Cleans and stocks respiratory equipment regularly. Participates in Code Blue and Rapid Response Team activities. Administers non-invasive therapy for patients of all age groups, from infants to geriatrics. Provides clerical assistance as required by the department. Performs setup of Holter monitors, electrocardiograms, cardiac stress tests, and exercise oximetry as ordered. Assists with patient transports requiring respiratory intervention and maintains intubation boxes. Performs peripheral intravenous line insertion and pacer interrogations as needed. Maintains Autopaps for use. Other duties as assigned.
