Job summary

Smile Dental Group in Missouri is seeking a Dental Hygienist to provide comprehensive preventive dental care and patient education. You will perform periodontal procedures, educate patients on prevention, and help maintain a welcoming, high-quality practice environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with dentists and staff to develop and execute individualized treatment plans, while ensuring excellent patient experiences and adherence to board standards.

Qualifications

• Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both the team and patients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements.
• Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease as well as maintaining their oral health.
• Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health.
• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan.
• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment.

Schedule:

We are a family focused team and our schedule reflects that. Hygienists will enjoy a 4

day work schedule with patients from 9:00-4:00 and no weekends!

What you’ll do as a Hygienist:

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in

accordance with all state dental board requirements

• Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal

disease as well as maintaining their oral health. Discuss the links between

periodontal conditions and overall systemic health
