Qualifications

• Compliance with the State Dental Board for dental hygiene licensure.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures according to state dental board requirements.
• Educate patients on preventing and treating periodontal disease.
• Collaborate with the Dentist to chart conditions of periodontal disease.
• Work with the team to ensure an exceptional patient experience.

What you’ll do as a Hygienist:

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements

• Build trust through clear education for patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease, as well as maintaining their oral health.

• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan

• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment

What you’ll bring:

• Dental hygiene licensure compliance with the State Dental Board

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both the team and patients

• Proficient with dental software and Dental Hygiene ADA Standards
