Job summary

Smile-Dental-Group is seeking a friendly Dental Hygienist to join a thriving private practice. You will perform periodontal procedures, educate patients on preventing and managing periodontal disease, and collaborate with the Dentist on treatment plans. Our team prioritizes patient comfort and high-quality care.

This role features a 4-day work schedule from 9:00 to 4:00 with no weekends, and a welcoming environment focused on patient health and confidence in smiles.

Qualifications

• Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with team and patients.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and dental software.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures per patient needs and board requirements.
• Educate patients on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of periodontal disease and oral health.
• Collaborate with Dentist to chart conditions and develop treatment plans.
• Work with the team to ensure exceptional patient experience and maintain practice equipment.

Schedule:

We are a family focused team and our schedule reflects that. Hygienists will enjoy a 4

day work schedule with patients from 9:00-4:00 and no weekends!

What you’ll do as a Hygienist:

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in

accordance with all state dental board requirements

• Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal

disease as well as maintaining their oral health. Discuss the links between

periodontal conditions and overall systemic health

• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to

develop the appropriate treatment plan

• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional

patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment

What you’ll bring:

• Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse

actions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with both the team and patients
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software
