Job summary

Elite-Dental-Partners is seeking a Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join a patient-focused team. The role emphasizes education, prevention, and delivering an exceptional patient experience while aligning with state board requirements.

Hours are Mondays 9:00am-6:00pm and Thursdays 8:00am-5:00pm. Growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package are provided by the practice.

Qualifications

• Dental hygiene license compliant with State Board requirements.
• 2+ years experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills with both team and patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures per state board requirements.
• Educate patients on prevention and links between periodontal health and systemic health.
• Chart periodontal conditions with the Dentist to support treatment planning.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure an exceptional patient experience and maintain equipment.

Job description

We are seeking a Part-Time Dental Hygienist that shares our passion for patient care and education, as well as creating a welcoming environment. The hours for this position are Mondays 9:00am-6:00pm and Thursdays 8:00am-5:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodontal procedures in a manner that is best for the patient in accordance with all state dental board requirements
• Educate patients on strategies to prevent, diagnose, and treat periodontal disease as well as maintaining their oral health. Discuss the links between periodontal conditions and overall systemic health
• Chart conditions of periodontal disease for collaboration with the Dentist to develop the appropriate treatment plan
• Work collaboratively with the team on scheduling, ensuring an exceptional patient experience, and maintaining the condition of the practice and equipment

Qualifications

• Dental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actions
• Two (2) + years’ experience as a licensed Dental Hygienist preferred but not required
• Excellent communication skills with both the team and patients
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products and working with dental software, experience with Dentrix preferred
