Heartland Dental LLC is partnering with Gallitan Dental Care to hire a part-time Hygiene Assistant who will work closely with our hygiene providers to deliver exceptional patient care. On-the-job training will build your skills and a clear path for career growth in a world-class organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• DA license with radiology in TN required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
• Team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Regular HIPAA training and data safeguards expected.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients from the start of their dental journey, and maintain patient comfort and provide education throughout treatment.
• Conduct a thorough review of the patient’s health history to provide quality care.
• Provide superior assistance to supported hygienists during a wide variety of procedures.
• Assist with setting up rooms for all hygiene visits including stocking and restocking instruments and supplies.
• Utilize Dentrix for patient scheduling and record keeping.
• Prepare treatment room with adherence to safety protocols and OSHA & CDC recommendations.
• Partner with providers and team to follow office systems and maximize workflow.
